Last Saturday I had the chance to preview the latest branch of Wagamama at Great Marlborough Street. This restaurant is just up the road from department store liberty and around the corner from Carnaby Street.
When you enter you are greeted by the large open kitchen on the left-hand side and a new option to eat at a bar facing the kitchen and chefs as they cook the dishes. Long gone are the days of long benches and forced communal dining as upstairs we sat in one of the many four person booths. You can still sit in smaller groups in a few six seater benches.
Food wise I had my usual. Chicken Ramen which is number 20, normally I would have the kids menu but today I had adult sizes for a special treat.
This tasted as good as it looked. I also had a super green juice (apple, mint, celery and lime juice) which is an easy and tasty way to 5 a day. For desert I went for the mochi balls these are ice cream filled balls made from rice paste then cut in half.
